Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Kraków, Poland is seeking a Software Engineer for the Controller 6610 development organization. You will design, implement, integrate and maintain software for large-scale telecom systems, and contribute to automation, software quality and CI/CD.

You will collaborate with global development teams, work with C++, Java or Python, Linux/Unix, Git and AI-assisted tooling. A BSc/MSc in a technical field is required, plus strong analytical skills and good English.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics or related field.
• Strong software development skills in C++, Java and/or Python.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and automation agents.
• Experience with software design, implementation, integration and testing.
• Familiarity with Git version control system and collaborative development practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and good communication in international teams.
• High level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software components for Controller 6610 products.
• Analyze, investigate and troubleshoot complex software and system-level issues.
• Participate in feature development throughout the entire software lifecycle, from requirements to delivery.
• Develop and improve automated testing, verification and CI/CD workflows.
• Contribute to software quality, maintainability and continuous improvements of the engineering environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams located in multiple Ericsson sites worldwide.
• Work with modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Support software integration, system verification and release activities.
