Société Générale is hiring a C# Backend Developer for its Trading Tool team in Warsaw. You will design, build, test, and deploy high-performance front-office trading applications used by traders daily.

The role involves collaboration with teams in France and Poland and requires strong English communication and commitment to best practices. You will work on SDLC, DevOps, and feature delivery in a fast-paced environment, contributing to migration efforts and REST API modernization while

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend software development (C#).
• Proficient in multi-threaded programming and have worked with microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with WPF and a strong knowledge of its API design as well as best practices of implementation.
• English communication is clear and confident.
• Team-player, proactive in problem-solving and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Build, deliver, and run applications with craftsmanship and best coding practices.
• Develop and support features in a functional application chain.
• Convert requirements into detailed user stories with product owner and analysts.
• Deliver and support the application via continuous delivery (DevOps).
• Write unit tests and participate in non-regression testing.
• Maintain and improve production support for existing features.
• Suggest and implement process and performance improvements.
• Provide clear updates to clients and management.
• Work with C#, .NET, WPF, MS SQL / PostgreSQL, REST WebAPI, and related tools.
