Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to advance the Fund Accounting System used by our Back Office. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software within a hybrid work model.

You will collaborate with business analysts and other teams, apply best practices in code quality, testing, and performance, and help modernize the technology stack while ensuring reliable delivery in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficient in C++ with Linux development tools.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• REST web services and Java experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of design patterns and OO design.
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins) and version control (Git, SVN).

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing application functionality meeting business requirements.
• Developing maintainable, well-documented code.
• Collaborating with business analysts to define requirements and options.
• Creating prototypes and contributing to technical design and data model.
• Enforcing coding patterns and performing code reviews.
• Troubleshooting production issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Upgrading components and modernizing technology stack.
• Coordinating with other teams for integrations and security remediation.
