Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a Senior C++ Developer in Krakow to contribute to the Fund Accounting System used by back-office operations. You will design and implement scalable C++ functionality, ensure code quality, and work with business analysts to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on software experience, strong knowledge of C++ and Linux, and familiarity with SQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development hands-on experience.
• Must be proficient in C++ with Linux tools.
• Proficiency in SQL concepts and data modeling.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Strong debugging, testing, CI, refactoring and clean code practices.
• Good understanding of Design Patterns and OO Design.
• Experience with REST web services in Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework and related tools.

• Developing maintainable, well-documented code with standardization and performance in mind.
• Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to define requirements.
