Veeam is seeking an experienced software engineering lead to supervise a backend-focused team in Warsaw, collaborating with product management to shape features and estimate effort.

You will lead code reviews, drive technical decisions, and foster learning, while delivering high-quality software and coordinating with stakeholders across international teams. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development in commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .Net, Win API, data structures and algorithms.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, self-control and responsibility.
• English proficiency sufficient for international teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team’s day-to-day operations.
• Analyze and establish business requirements with product management.
• Develop backend features and estimate implementation effort and costs.
• Lead code reviews and make technical decisions.
• Foster learning, motivate team members, and maintain a productive atmosphere.
• Communicate with project stakeholders and coordinate processes.
