Veeam is seeking an experienced software engineering lead to supervise a backend-focused team in Warsaw, collaborating with product management to shape features and estimate effort.

You will lead code reviews, drive technical decisions, and foster learning, while delivering high-quality software and coordinating with stakeholders across international teams. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development in commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .Net, Win API, data structures and algorithms.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, self-control and responsibility.
• English proficiency sufficient for international teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team’s day-to-day operations.

• Supervise the team’s day-to-day operations
• Analyze and establish business requirements in collaboration with the product management team
• Develop new product features, currently focusing on backend
• Estimate the efforts required for feature implementation, including costs and capacity
• Develop your hard and soft skills together with the team
• Make technical decisions
• Lead and involve others into code reviews
• Ensure work atmosphere inside of the team, team members learning and motivation
• Communicate with the project’s stakeholders
• Establish and review communication and processes inside of the team: prepare and perform regular meetings, planning, daily, retro
