Job summary

Alarm.com is expanding in Krakow with a Senior Software Engineer in the Home Automation Experience (HAX) team. You will lead backend development for automation features, mentor peers, and influence architectural decisions, while collaborating with PM and QE to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You will work on rules, schedules, and automation services, integrating across platforms and services, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend engineering skills building and maintaining HTTP APIs/services (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Deep OO design, SOLID principles, and design patterns; C#, .NET Core a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of automation features end-to-end for the Home Automation Experience (HAX) team.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions in reviews.
• Focus on backend development and data/infrastructure for automation features (rules, schedules).
• Collaborate across Product, Design, and QA to drive technical decisions.
