Job summary

JS Energy Europe Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage direct and indirect purchasing at our Konin site. This role combines hands-on sourcing with supplier management, cost optimization and negotiations to strengthen procurement capabilities.

You will lead end-to-end purchasing, develop sourcing strategies, and collaborate with Production, Planning, Logistics, and Quality to ensure continuity and value while preparing for a future Team Leader / Supervisor role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience in direct and indirect purchasing is preferred.
• Strong supplier negotiation and cost-reduction experience.
• Ability to analyze quotations, TCO, and commercial terms.
• Fluent English for supplier negotiations and communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing for direct and indirect materials.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and supplier negotiations.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Production, Planning, Logistics, Quality).
• Support new projects, investments and engineering changes with purchasing inputs.
