Job summary

Fluence, a Nasdaq-listed energy storage leader, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate and manage engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System projects across the EMEA region. You will act as the key technical interface with internal teams, partners, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, project engineering, or project execution within power, renewable energy, battery storage, or utility sectors.
• Experience designing or supporting utility-scale power systems or battery storage projects.
• Familiarity with EPC project execution and regional electrical codes/standards.
• English proficiency; Polish language optional but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal disciplines to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements, specifications, constructability standards, and regional considerations.
• Lead internal and external design review meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify compliance with internal quality standards and industry regulations.
• Support procurement by developing technical specs and reviewing vendor documentation.
• Review designs to align with project requirements and commitments.
• Take ownership of projects and provide technical leadership during execution.
• Manage technical escalations and coordinate resolution of engineering issues.
