Job summary

Fluence (Nasdaq: FLNC) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and power infrastructure across the EMEA region. The role ensures deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations.

As the technical interface between internal teams, external partners, subcontractors, suppliers and customers, you will lead design reviews, maintain quality, support procurement, and drive value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional certificates in engineering are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal disciplines to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure deliverables comply with contractual requirements and regional standards.
• Coordinate and lead internal/external design review meetings.
• Verify compliance of designs with quality standards and regulations.
• Promote value engineering and innovative design approaches.
• Support procurement by developing specs and reviewing vendor documents.
• Review engineering designs for alignment with project goals.
• Take ownership and provide technical leadership through execution.
• Manage escalations and resolve engineering issues impacting performance.
• Support project safety initiatives and align activities with safety objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel across the EMEA region to support project execution.
