UST is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer / Technical Lead to design and build enterprise‑grade software that supports validation infrastructure. You will work across backend development, automation, CI/CD, Linux platforms, containerization, databases, APIs, and engineering tooling.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer / Technical Lead to design and develop enterprise-grade software solutions supporting validation infrastructure.

In this role, you will work across backend software development, automation, CI/CD, Linux platforms, containerization, databases, APIs, and engineering tooling. You will also provide technical leadership, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with client stakeholders to improve validation efficiency, automation coverage, and operational reliability.

• Experience designing and developing automation frameworks and engineering tools.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and application design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation.
• Strong experience working with Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience in API design and development.
• Good understanding of database design and integration.
• Experience implementing automated testing within software development and delivery processes.
• Experience with software release management and engineering lifecycle practices.
• Familiarity with Artifactory or similar artifact management solutions.
• Strong code review, troubleshooting, and application optimization skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with technical stakeholders.

Nice To Have

• Experience developing software or automation solutions for validation, testing, or engineering infrastructure.
• Experience with OS image management and deployment solutions.
• Knowledge of large-scale validation or lab environments.
