Job summary

Cognism is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations & Enrich domain. You will design and build backend services that power CRM integrations and enrichment workflows, enabling secure data exchange with Salesforce, HubSpot and other platforms.

You will own software across its lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to architecture discussions while leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend engineering skills using Java, Scala, Kotlin, C# or modern TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience building APIs and system integrations.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and production support.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services supporting CRM integrations and enrichment workflows.
• Build scalable APIs enabling secure data exchange between Cognism and customer platforms.
• Own software throughout its lifecycle, from design through production operations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Customer Success, Data Engineering and Platform teams.
• Improve integration reliability, synchronization performance and customer experience.
• Write high-quality automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve software delivery and quality.
