Job summary

Cognism is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Integrations & Enrich team. You will build backend services for CRM integrations and enrichment workflows, enabling secure data exchange with customer platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot.

You will own features end-to-end and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver reliable data experiences. Strong backend skills, distributed systems knowledge, and experience with AWS are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend skills using Java, Scala, Kotlin, C# or modern TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience building APIs and system integrations.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and production support.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer within the Integrations & Enrich domain, you will build the capabilities that connect Cognism with customers' technology ecosystems. Your work will focus on CRM integrations, enrichment workflows, synchronization services and customer-facing data experiences. You will help enterprise customers seamlessly move trusted Cognism data into platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot and other business applications.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop backend services supporting CRM integrations and enrichment workflows
• Build scalable APIs enabling secure data exchange between Cognism and customer platforms

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Customer Success, Data Engineering and Platform teams

Technology Environment

• Cloud-native backend services running on AWS
• REST APIs and event-driven microservices

Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend engineering skills using Java, Scala, Kotlin, C# or modern TypeScript/Node.js
• Experience building APIs and system integrations
• Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and production support
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating with Salesforce, HubSpot or other CRM platforms
• Knowledge of event streaming using Kafka
• Experience with ETL or data enrichment pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot
