Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud services for remote device management and OTA updates. You will own CI/CD, observability, and multi-region AWS infrastructure, while mentoring juniors and driving secure, scalable APIs and microservices.

You'll collaborate with hardware, product, and software teams in an agile environment, applying DevOps and SRE practices to ensure high availability and performance across global edge deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with Amazon AWS services such as EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python or Go (Golang), with a focus on building production-quality services.
• Experience with relational, document, or time-series databases and writing performant SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Proven ability to design and operate scalable, secure APIs and microservices.
• Experience with agile environments and modern DevOps/SRE practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in incident prevention, response, and remediation efforts.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud services that support device observability, OTA updates, and fleet operations.
• Lead efforts to improve the reliability, security, and performance of multi-region AWS infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for cloud services, enabling secure, automated delivery processes.
• Set and uphold high standards for software engineering and DevOps practices across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions, perform code reviews, and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in cloud technologies and design patterns.
• Work in agile environments with modern DevOps and SRE practices.
