Luxoft Poland is seeking an experienced Backend Architect to own the architecture of a production-grade vehicle backend service. You will drive the streaming AI pipeline from ASR to LLM to TTS, design guardrails, and manage multi‑intent routing with tool integrations.

You will lead architectural decisions, define interface contracts, and ensure backward compatibility across vehicle generations while maintaining security, observability, and high availability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in backend/distributed systems, incl. 3+ years as architect or tech lead.
• Expert Python with FastAPI, async and streaming experience.
• Production experience with LLM-based systems and tool/agent workflows.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI/OpenAI in production and model migrations.
• Strong API design skills: REST, gRPC, versioning, secure mTLS/OAuth2.
• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge, embeddings and vector search (pgvector).
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure cloud (AKS).
• Terraform IaC, CI/CD, and OpenTelemetry tracing.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve backend architecture: routing, orchestration, and hexagonal design.
• Define interface contracts between vehicle, LLM, tools, and agents; version and evolve them.
• Design vehicle-facing integration: REST, gRPC, Protobuf, OAuth2, mTLS.
• Architect streaming: SSE/WebSocket/gRPC with buffering and error handling.
• Oversee LLM integration: prompt management, context handling, and guardrails.
• Develop agent orchestration for multi‑intent routing across LLMs and tools.
• Integrate tools: navigation, media search, calendars, and vehicle data services.
• Define RAG/persistence with embeddings and pgvector; manage data stores.
• Ensure HA (99.5%), observability, incident response, and compliant releases.
• Collaborate with client teams; maintain architecture docs and governance.
