Luxoft is seeking an experienced Backend Architect to own the architecture of a live, AI-powered in-vehicle backend. You will lead the end-to-end design for streaming AI, LLM orchestration, and agent/tool integration across vehicle generations.

You will define interface contracts, manage the vehicle-to-backend protocol, and ensure high availability while evolving capabilities with guardrails and secure cross-service communication.

Formación

• 8+ years in backend/distributed systems engineering with ownership of production design.
• Expert Python with FastAPI, async patterns, and streaming architectures.
• Proven production experience with LLM-based systems and tool/agent orchestration.
• Azure OpenAI or OpenAI API in production, with model/version management.
• Strong API design for REST and gRPC, plus secure OAuth2/mTLS.
• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge and vector search for RAG (pgvector).
• Kubernetes orchestration and Azure cloud expertise (AKS, Key Vault).
• IaC skills in Terraform; modern CI/CD with Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve the backend architecture for a live vehicle backend service.
• Define interface concepts between vehicle, LLM, tools and agents and version them.
• Architect vehicle-facing REST/gRPC APIs and telemetry interfaces.
• Design streaming for real-time AI: ASR, chat, TTS with low latency.
• Oversee LLM integration, prompt handling, and guardrails for safe outputs.
• Develop multi-intent routing and agent orchestration using LangGraph.
• Integrate tools: navigation, media search, calendar, and vehicle data services.
• Define RAG/persistence design and embeddings strategy; manage data stores.
• Ensure observability: tracing, metrics, alerting; maintain 99.5%+ availability.
