Job summary

Patrianna Limited is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to design and deliver clean, scalable services. You will work across backend, web, and QA teams, owning specific services within a large-scale architecture and embracing AI-assisted development.

You will leverage PostgreSQL, Kafka, and modern Java stacks (Spring Boot, GCP, Kubernetes) while maintaining high test coverage and reliable production behavior.

Qualifications

• Extensive production experience with Java and its ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and messaging (Kafka).
• Solid system design, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver clean, scalable Java backend systems with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with backend, web, mobile, QA, and product teams.
• Take ownership of services or areas within a large-scale architecture.
