Qualifications

• Extensive production experience with Java and deep understanding of JVM internals.
• Strong system design capabilities and ability to document complex architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL, and performance tuning.
• Solid grasp of messaging concepts, ideally Kafka ecosystem.
• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities; understanding of concurrency and security best practices.
• Leadership experience with team mentoring and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable system architectures while mentoring team members.
• Lead code reviews and establish best practices for high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize database performance and design robust data solutions (PostgreSQL).
• Architect and maintain messaging systems (Kafka).
• Troubleshoot production issues and own system reliability and performance.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and technical discussions.
