Job summary

Avenga Poland in Wrocław is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to join our cloud platform team and help build, secure, and optimize a modern CI/CD environment.

You will design and maintain IaC with Terraform and Kubernetes, manage Azure DevOps and GitHub/GitLab pipelines, and enable engineering squads across Cloud, Security, and AppSec.

Strong collaboration, automation, and proactive problem-solving are essential to safeguard software delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or DevSecOps engineer or similar.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Platform including CEP; certifications a plus.
• Proficiency with IaC tools: Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms: Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitLab.
• Security automation knowledge: SAST, SCA, DAST, container vulnerability scanning.
• IAM knowledge: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, DNS, PKI.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python; familiarity with GitHub Copilot.
• Enablement & collaboration across Cloud, Security, AppSec and platform teams.
• Observability and health monitoring using enterprise tools.

Job description

• min. 4+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or DevSecOps engineer or similar
• Cloud & Infrastructure (IaC): Azure Cloud Platform (inc. Azure CEP; certifications a plus), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure Red Hat OpenShift / ARO, Ansible).
• CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps (project configuration, repositories, permissions, Boards, Pipelines, service connections), GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar platforms.
• DevSecOps & Security: Security automation (SAST, SCA, DAST, container vulnerability scanning, vulnerability management), Sonatype, and application security tools.
• Identity & Access Management: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, DNS, PKI, certificates, and IAM principles.
• Scripting & AI Tools: PowerShell, Bash, Python; experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software engineering tools.
• Enablement & Collaboration: Supporting engineering teams (onboarding, troubleshooting, platform enablement), collaborating with cross-functional platform teams (Cloud, Security, Azure DevOps, GitHub, AppSec).
• Observability: Monitoring, observability, and platform health monitoring using enterprise tools.
