Job summary

Arup is seeking an experienced Architect to join our multidisciplinary team in Kraków or Warsaw, Poland. You will deliver architectural design across all project phases, lead small to mid-size projects under senior guidance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce BIM models, drawings, schedules and specifications.

The role requires strong BIM proficiency, permit experience, and a degree in Architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in design of buildings within an architectural or engineering consultancy environment.
• Experience in delivering building permit and detailed design documentation.
• Experience in the design and delivery of industrial and/or technology sector projects.
• Strong understanding of development process, including permitting and regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver architectural design services across all project phases, from feasibility studies and concept design through to detailed design and construction support.
• Lead small to medium sized architectural projects with limited supervision from senior architects.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated project information, including BIM models, drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Participate in feasibility studies and support the development of design strategies for new investments.
• Actively contribute to multidisciplinary design coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and coordinate the work of architectural team members, monitor progress and support project delivery.
• Work closely with cost consultants, bid specialists and planning/scheduling teams.
• Liaise with local authorities, approval bodies and stakeholders to support permitting and consent processes.
