Job summary

Optiveum is recruiting on behalf of a banking-client for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. You will design and maintain automated tests for Master Data Management, focusing on SOAP/REST, database checks and data distribution processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of automated software testing in complex environments.
• Strong QA methodology covering test planning, design, execution, and regression.
• Hands-on automation in Java 17+ with clean code and POJO patterns.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and data validation; CI/CD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests for APIs, data flows and integrations.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Create regression suites and contribute to automation strategy.
• Mentor junior team members and promote an AI-assisted approach.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage.
