Job summary

LSEG is seeking a Platform Engineer / Solution Architect to shape and evolve a enterprise API Management Platform within Technology Services. You will design scalable, self-service capabilities and drive consistency across a federated landscape, partnering with product, design and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include defining platform standards, improving onboarding, and advancing API lifecycle tooling with a focus on developer experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of API management concepts including gateways, traffic management and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of authentication and security patterns, including OAuth and OpenID Connect.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the architecture of the API Management Platform for scalability and security.
• Drive evolution of core platform capabilities (API Gateway, Management, Discovery, DX).
• Define reusable patterns and governance approaches for API exposure and lifecycle management.
• Own runtime capabilities: authentication, authorization, traffic management, rate limiting, observability.
• Build self-service capabilities for API producers and consumers.
