Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior AP1000 Instructor to develop the next generation of nuclear operators in Poland. You will deliver high-quality training, applying technical expertise and instructional skills to qualify licensed and non-licensed operations personnel.

During the initial phase, you may work remotely from within Poland while completing a comprehensive qualification and training program of about 18 months, including extended assignments in Madrid, Spain, and eventual

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, physics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience providing technical training programs.
• 5+ years of experience in the nuclear industry or power generation, or regulated industrial environments.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or qualifying junior Instructors.
• Availability to travel and spend extended periods in Madrid, Spain for training.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the Systematic Approach to Training process of the initial and continuing education programs of their specialty.
• Manage the analysis, design and implementation of ongoing training needs.
• Develop the sessions corresponding to the training courses of licensed and non-licensed operations personnel, including teaching sessions in the classroom, plant, and the simulator.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and qualification support to junior Instructors.
• Detect any type of malfunction in the simulator and collaborate in the analysis and implementation of corrections, conduct the tests.
• Coordinate training, providing support to training committees and planning training programs.
• Define and collaborate in the development of advanced educational means (simulators, multimedia, videos, and models)
