Job summary

instinctools is seeking a senior Android engineer to design, develop, and maintain geo-enabled features for a global mobility platform. You will implement pickup/drop-off, live vehicle tracking, and route visualization with Jetpack Compose and MVVM/MVI patterns.

You’ll collaborate across Geo Data, Backend, QA and Analytics, optimize memory and battery usage, participate in CI/CD, and contribute to the secure coding practice and Play Console lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Android development in Kotlin.
• Deep knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava.
• Experience with location-based features and maps SDK integration.
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI and offline storage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android features end-to-end with release readiness.
• Build geo-specific features and live tracking integrations.
• Develop UI with Jetpack Compose using established design systems.
• Integrate APIs, map SDKs, and third-party route data.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and production issues.
