Job summary

instinctools is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer for a client in mobility and urban services. You will design and build geo-enabled iOS features, including real-time location tracking, pickup/drop-off flows, and map integrations in a microservices context.

Join a product delivery team and collaborate with backend, QA, and analytics to deliver robust, scalable mobile solutions within a 4-month+ project window. Remote work is offered with flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial iOS development experience.
• Expert knowledge of iOS SDK 13+ and modern Swift frameworks.
• Experience with Core Location and real-time location tracking.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and testing coverage.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture and design systems in SwiftUI/UIKit.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS features end-to-end with geo capabilities.
• Integrate real-time location and maps services using Core Location and Google Maps.
• Collaborate with Geo Data, Backend, and QA teams in Agile sprints.
• Ensure secure data storage and efficient data flows.
• Maintain test suites and monitoring dashboards; perform root-cause analysis.
• Support feature flags, A/B experiments, and staged rollouts.
