Job summary

Capgemini Polska in Warsaw, Poland is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Kotlin/Java Android apps while implementing secure mobile solutions and modern architectures.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure parity between Android and iOS platforms, and drive testing, release management, and analytics using Firebase, Crashlytics, and Datadog.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin; strong Java skills.
• Hands-on with MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
• Strong mobile security knowledge: OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, encryption, pinning, biometrics.
• Experience with Google Play Console and release processes.
• Experience with cross-platform parity projects.
• Experience with monitoring/analytics/crash reporting tools: Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Datadog.
• Good command of English (B2).
• Willingness to work on-site full-time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure apps comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements for financial services.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Support accessibility initiatives and maintain accessibility standards.

YOUR TASKS

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks using: Junit, Espresso, Mockito, Robolectric
• Manage application releases through Google Play Console, including App signing, Staged rollouts, Release monitoring, Production support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency between Android and iOS platforms.
• Monitor application performance and stability using tools such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Datadog.
• Ensure applications comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements relevant to financial services.
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Support accessibility initiatives and maintain compliance with accessibility standards.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 5 years of expeirence in professional Android Development.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin and strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with modern Android architectural patterns: MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture
• Strong understanding of mobile security concepts, including OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, Encryption, Certificate Pinning, Biometric Authentication
• Experience working with Google Play Console and release management processes.
• Experience with cross-platform parity projects (replicating iOS apps on Android or vice versa)
• Experience with monitoring, analytics, and crash reporting tools: Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Datadog
• Good command of English (at least B2).
• Willingness to work on-site on a full-time basis
