Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Kraków to join a mature data analytics team. You will investigate complex data issues, lead cross-team data analyses and drive improvements across ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.

The role requires deep SQL knowledge, experience with relational databases and strong English communication. You will collaborate with engineering leadership on data migration and cloud modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of DBT and/or Databricks to investigate data issues and understand impacts across the data supply chain.
• Ability to lead data analysis and investigations across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking and strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT and data transformations processes.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data investigations and root-cause analysis across the data supply chain using DBT/Databricks, SQL and relational databases.
• Drive cross-functional troubleshooting efforts by coordinating multiple teams to identify impacts and deliver solutions.
• Own analysis of complex data flows and ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Influence stakeholders and align on priorities, remediation strategies and delivery plans.
• Proactively identify data risks, dependencies and downstream impacts.
• Communicate complex data and technical issues effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes and investigation practices.
