Job summary

Biogen Poland is seeking a Senior Analyst for the GBS Record to Report team to manage affiliates' general ledger operations, including cash reconciliations, AR transactions, fixed assets, payroll, accruals, and prepayments. You will ensure timely monthly and quarterly reporting of PnL, BS, VAT, CIT, and related schedules.

In this role you will post journal entries, run PA reports, prepare VAT/CIT data, and support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance (preferred in Accountancy area).
• ACCA/CIMA exams preferred, National Association of Accountants.
• 3+ years of experience in international accounting.
• Experience in working for SSC/BPO required.
• Good understanding of AP/AR/CM/FA processes.
• Proficient knowledge of Oracle R12.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Experience in Continuous Improvement.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.

About This Role

As a Senior Analyst in the GBS Record to Report team, you will take charge of Biogen’s Affiliates' general ledger operations, encompassing tasks like cash and treasury reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, prepayments, and accruals. Your primary goal will be to ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly and quarterly financial information, including Profit and Loss (PnL), Balance Sheets (BS), VAT, CIT, and other packages. This role is crucial for delivering precise financial records and analyses, which are instrumental in the company's decision-making processes. You will contribute significantly to the finance department by managing essential financial activities that align with Biogen’s strategic objectives and financial integrity.

Required Skills
