Biogen Poland is seeking a (Senior) Analyst, EU VAT & Accounting to join our VAT Center of Excellence. You will prepare VAT returns, EC Listings, and Intrastat reports across Europe, while maintaining documentation and supporting month-end reconciliations.

Ideal candidates have a strong VAT background, 3+ years in international accounting, and fluency in English, with German as a plus. This hybrid role offers opportunities to impact global tax processes.

About This Role

As a (Senior) Analyst, EU VAT & Accounting, you will be part of the VAT Center of Excellence Team, supporting VAT compliance activities for Biogen entities registered across multiple European countries. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and gathering information from system-generated reports to support VAT reporting, reconciliations, and compliance processes. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely VAT filings while maintaining a high standard of documentation and compliance.

What You'll Do

As a member of the VAT Center of Excellence team, you will:

• Prepare and support the submission of VAT returns across European jurisdictions.
• Prepare EC Listings and ensure accurate reporting of intra-community transactions.
• Prepare Intrastat reports in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• Perform month-end VAT reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain VAT documentation folders, ensuring that all supporting documents are appropriately saved, organized, and signed.
• Support additional VAT compliance activities and special projects as required.
• Work closely with accounting, tax, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with VAT regulations and internal controls.

• Experience working within multinational organizations and cross-functional teams.
