Job summary

Citi is hiring a CRIU Lead Analyst in Warsaw for a fixed-term contract. You will perform risk and compliance reviews within AML, handling high-risk cases and mentoring analysts while supporting exams and audits.

Key tasks include conducting investigations, documenting findings, and advising senior management on SARs and remedial actions. Strong AML knowledge and independent judgment are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting and/or approving Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of advanced money laundering typologies and investigative practices.
• Ability to operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgement.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AML regulations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and research on potentially suspicious clients using internal systems.
• Review AML cases for timeliness, accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Document and report findings; prepare case files with supporting documentation.
• Advise senior management on next steps, including SARs and potential relationship actions.
• Mentor junior analysts and support regulatory exams or third-party reviews.
• Lead or assist with ad-hoc AML projects and cross-sector reviews.
