Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quantitative role in risk management at a financial institution.
• Deep understanding of AML typologies, detection scenarios and model lifecycle.
• Strong programming in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL; experience with Big Data.

Responsibilities

• Development, enhancement and testing of AI/ML and GenAI models for AML monitoring.
• Managing models across the lifecycle, including reviews and performance checks.
• Translate business requests into data criteria and conduct operational research.
• Develop analytic engines with documentation for validation.
• Identify modeling opportunities and present recommendations to senior staff.
• Lead large cross-functional AML initiatives and manage multiple projects.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulatory expectations.
• Temporary role through December 2027 (fixed-term contract).
