Job summary

Esko, a Veralto Company, is building shared security foundations for its AI Platform. We seek a hands-on security‑focused software engineer to own substantial security areas across identity, authorization, and policy enforcement for AI systems.

You will work with cloud platform teams, security engineers, compliance specialists, and product engineers to deliver practical, auditable controls that scale across products.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering in Python/TypeScript or similar.
• 5+ years in software engineering securing cloud, distributed or platform services.
• Experience threat modelling and security testing.
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval‑augmented generation, or agents and their security issues.
• Experience building reusable platform controls and APIs.
• Good judgment balancing security, usability and complexity.
• Clear communication across engineering, security, compliance and product stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in CS/ML/DS/AI or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Shape security architecture and own substantial security components end to end.
• Design identity, authorization, delegated access, and policy enforcement for AI systems.
• Secure retrieval, tool use, and execution against AI threats.
• Define controls with risk-based isolation, approvals, and recovery mechanisms.
• Build audit and monitoring so security‑relevant activity is traceable.
• Conduct threat modelling and adversarial testing to inform platform controls.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, compliance, and product teams to integrate controls.
