Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks a Lead AI Software Engineer to own the technical direction and architecture of a next-gen agentic AI platform for enterprise fintech deployments. You will guide a team, define platform architecture, and hands-on develop distributed systems to ensure secure, scalable operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will lead design decisions on data models, RAG, observability, and identity, while mentoring engineers and aligning with product leadership to deliver on ambitious

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial software engineering with leadership in Tech Lead/Principal roles.
• Shipping and operating LLM-based systems at scale, with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented approaches.
• Experience in multi-tenant architectures and data isolation in cloud deployments.
• Strong security-focused design including authn/authz and RBAC/ABAC.
• Proficient in Python; working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js; heavy PostgreSQL load handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for senior engineers.
• Own end-to-end platform architecture of enterprise AI platform (agent orchestration, tooling, memory, RAG).
• Design robust multi-tenant cloud foundations with SSO integrations (WorkOS) and policy engines (Cerbos).
• Drive cost discipline, model routing, caching, and auditable agent decisions.
• Lead challenging distributed systems work and deliver high-quality Python code.
• Engage with customers as technical authority and participate in security reviews.
