Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks a Lead AI Software Engineer to own the architecture of an enterprise AI platform for global clients. You will drive technical direction, guide senior engineers, and ensure secure, scalable multi-tenant deployments across clouds.

You will lead hands-on engineering, optimize costs and performance, and collaborate with product leadership to translate roadmaps into commitments. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering in leadership roles (Tech Lead/Principal).
• Shipping and operating LLM-based apps at scale with prompt engineering and RAG.
• Deep expertise in multi-tenant architectures and data isolation/security considerations.
• Strong backbone in distributed systems, security architecture, authn/authz (RBAC/ABAC).
• Proficient Python; working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js; PostgreSQL under heavy load.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers; set technical standards and code reviews.
• Own end-to-end platform architecture: agent orchestration, data models, caching, deployment topologies.
• Design multi-tenant cloud foundations and SSO integrations (WorkOS) and policy engines (Cerbos).
• Define guardrails for agent safety, cost control, routing, and auditability for CISOs.
• Lead hands-on distributed systems work: performance, migrations, security architecture using Python.
• Serve as primary technical authority in customer discussions and architecture deep-dives.
