Job summary

Tealium is expanding its Insights engineering team with a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement scalable production systems and AI agents built on large language models. You will own end-to-end architecture, prompt engineering, retrieval workflows, and data privacy considerations.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to deliver robust, well-integrated AI features and drive best practices across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience (Python, Java).
• Proven experience shipping LLM-powered features to production at scale.
• Solid knowledge of modern software engineering principles, patterns, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own AI agents and LLM-powered software products end-to-end
• Lead the technical design of agentic systems and workflows, utilizing LLMs and ML models to solve complex problems
• Integrate agents with Tealium's data and configuration systems, as well as internal and external parties via APIs and MCP
• Supervise security and compliance of non-deterministic solutions by adding prompt-injection defenses, PII controls, output validation, and human-in-the-loop gates
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to find opportunities for bringing value to the customers by leveraging AI technologies
• Drive AI expertise, participate in peer reviews, and set standards for how the team builds LLM systems
