Job summary

Tealium is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement scalable, high-performance data services for its Universal Data Hub. You will work on distributed data systems, data quality, privacy, and governance, collaborating with senior engineers and multiple teams.

The role involves building AI-powered capabilities on top of the platform and exploring MCP-enabled tooling for AI agents. The team uses AWS, Spark/Databricks, Java/Python/Scala, and modern frameworks.

Qualifications

3+ years of Java/Python/Scala development experience using modern frameworks.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed data systems.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data processing pipelines.

Responsibilities

Partner with software engineers, architects, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data services and applications.
Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to planning and estimation.
Contribute to architectural design discussions and test planning.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure coding standards.
