Job summary

DataXstream, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent systems for our OMS+ IA platform. You will work at the intersection of LLMs, agentic workflows, and enterprise data to deliver production-grade AI capabilities.

The role involves leadership responsibilities, collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, and ensuring AI features are reliable in real-world enterprise workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years building and deploying ML/AI systems in production.
• Strong TS/JS programming skills with AI/ML integration.
• Proficiency in Python for ML workflows.
• Hands-on experience with large language models (prompt engineering, RAG, tuning).
• Solid understanding of ML concepts, evaluation, and MLOps.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines for training and inference.
• Ability to lead AI projects from concept to deployment.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ML models, LLM-based features, and agentic workflows.
• Build and refine LLM solutions including prompt design, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Partner with data engineers to create robust data pipelines for training and evaluation.
• Track AI/ML developments and translate into production improvements.
• Contribute to AI infrastructure including deployment, orchestration, monitoring, and continuous learning.
• Evaluate model and system performance and continuously tune for accuracy and latency.
• Implement guardrails and monitoring for responsible AI in production.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams; mentor junior engineers and data scientists.
• Design scalable systems that handle large datasets and integrate with existing architecture.
