State Street is seeking an AI Engineer to deliver production-grade AI solutions within a global enterprise. You will design and deploy AI/ML systems, develop LLM-based apps with prompt engineering, and build RAG pipelines leveraging enterprise data.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field; MS preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience with 3+ years in AI/ML/Generative AI.
• Strong Python programming and production AI/ML experience.
• Experience with microservices and API-based architectures; enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production AI and ML solutions.
• Develop LLM-based applications including prompt engineering and inference workflows.
• Build RAG pipelines using structured and unstructured enterprise data.
• Implement embeddings, semantic search, and vector-based retrieval.
• Develop agent-based and multi-step AI workflows.
• Build AI services and APIs for enterprise use; apply MLOps / LLMOps practices.
