Job summary

Billennium is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Wrocław to design and deliver production-grade AI applications across agentic AI, LLM-powered solutions, RAG, AI assistants and enterprise automation. You will own the full delivery lifecycle from business needs and architecture to development, deployment and observability, working closely with stakeholders and cloud-native teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of AI/ML engineering or closely related field.
• Proven experience deploying AI/LLM-powered applications to production.
• Strong Python development with production APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings and vector search.
• Experience with modern LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications and AI agents.
• Build agentic workflows including tool use and multi-step reasoning.
• Develop conversational AI and user-facing AI applications.
• Integrate LLMs from multiple providers based on requirements.
• Apply prompt engineering, context management and guardrails.
• Design and implement RAG solutions using embeddings and vector search.
• Develop retrieval strategies and improve chunking and metadata.
• Work with vector databases and search technologies.
• Create production-grade Python services and APIs with FastAPI.
• Design scalable backend architectures and integration layers.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise systems via APIs/webhooks/events.
• Build microservices and cloud-native components for AI workloads.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and production-ready.
