Job summary

Capgemini Poland is seeking an AI-focused software engineer to design and implement AI-powered features with a language-agnostic approach. You will integrate models into data pipelines, build Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, and maintain high quality with TDD and tests.

You'll work with Python or Java, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) in a hybrid environment. The role offers collaboration with Scrum and opportunities to engage in recruitment activities and department

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in AI augmented design and development using SpecKit, prompt engineering, testing and evaluating AI outputs.
• Knowledge of AI driven software architectures (MCP, AI Agents, A2A).
• Experience with Claude Code / GitHub CoPilot.
• Experience coding in Python or Java and understanding generated code.
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-based solutions (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Ability to write clean code following modern standards (TDD, code reviews, unit testing).
• Experience with Git and Linux basics.
• Fluent English.

Your Tasks

• Design and development of new software features using AI powered tools and systems with programming language agnostic approach.
• Integrating models with APIs and data pipelines.

• Cooperating with the Scrum Master and the development team to assure that client’s needs are covered.
• Opportunity to take part in out-of-project activities – for e.g., supporting our recruitment processes as an interviewer, taking part in department initiatives.

Your Profile

• Hands‑on experience in AI augmented design and development of software using SDD (SpecKit), prompt engineering, testing and evaluating AI outputs.
• Knowledge of AI driven software architectures (MCP, AI Agents, A2A).
• Working experience with Claude Code / GitHub CoPilot.
• Experience in coding using Python or Java to have ability read and understand generated code.
• Experience in designing REST API interfaces and implementing RESTful services, as well as designing databases using SQL and/or NoSQL databases, e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Cloud‑based solutions (Azure or AWS or GCP).
• Ability to write clean code in accordance with modern programming standards (TDD approach, code reviews, unit testing).
• Experience with a version control system, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of Linux basic concepts and console commands.
• Fluent English.

Nice To Have

• Experience with data services, for example: Azure Databricks, ADF, Data Lake Storage, or the AWS / GCP counterparts.
• Any frontend technology (Angular or Vue preferred).
