Zusammenfassung

Calan, an international real estate developer, is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Lead in Warsaw. You will manage cooperation with external accounting providers, ensure timely financial reporting, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

The role offers close work with the CFO, exposure to high-profile projects, and a dynamic entrepreneurial culture. Requirements include a university degree in finance/economics, 4–5 years in accounting/auditing, VAT/CIT knowledge, and English at B2.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in audit and/or real estate or development sector.
• Solid understanding of Polish accounting standards and financial reporting processes.
• Experience collaborating with external accounting firms, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Good knowledge of VAT, CIT, and transfer pricing.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

Aufgaben

• Managing cooperation with external accounting providers for multiple entities, including project SPVs.
• Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting and financial reporting.
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Reviewing accounting data from a business perspective and ensuring alignment with project budgets and group reporting.
• Coordinating statutory and group audits, acting as a key contact for auditors and advisors.
• Cooperating with external tax advisors and supporting tax-related processes, including transfer pricing documentation.
• Supporting controlling activities and ensuring consistency between accounting data and business performance.
• Identifying inconsistencies, risks, and areas for improvement within financial processes.
• Enhancing cooperation models, workflows, and financial procedures across stakeholders.
• Acting as a bridge between finance, operational teams, external providers, and the CFO.
