Job summary

Editorialist seeks a highly skilled Senior Accountant for our US legal entity. You will manage month‑end close, intercompany transactions, payroll inputs, and expense tracking, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

The role requires hands‑on accounting, interdepartmental collaboration across time zones, and strong attention to detail. You will work with QBO and Excel to deliver reliable financial reporting, and participate in audits, tax filings, and governance across entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Hands-on experience with US GAAP is a plus.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel needed.
• Experience in audits, tax filings, and monthly close processes.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close with journal entries ( payroll, 401(k), expenses, depreciation, interest ).
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and close variances.
• Coordinate with IT for fixed assets and asset register maintenance.
• Ensure depreciation accuracy and asset record alignment with policies.
• Maintain cash burn reports and expense classifications across cost categories.
• Assist in procurement reviews and vendor cost analysis.
• Support inventory reconciliations and affiliate platform reporting.
• Contribute to financial governance and reporting in QBO.
• Prepare management and financial reports with accurate QBO entries.
