Job summary

Outsourcey, a company connecting businesses with dedicated full-time teams in the Philippines, is seeking a Financial Controller/Senior Accountant to oversee US financial operations and controls. You will manage monthly US GAAP-aligned management accounts, own P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting, and coordinate US tax compliance alongside CPAs and auditors.

Qualifications

• 4.5+ years proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant supporting US entities
• Exposure to US sales tax (multi-state preferred)
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience managing QuickBooks-based finance functions
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all US financial operations and controls
• Prepare and review monthly US GAAP-aligned management accounts
• Own P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
• Ensure integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules
• Coordinate US tax compliance, including sales tax and filings
• Liaise with US CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory and regulatory reporting
• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Monitor performance vs budget and analyse variances
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Own and optimise QuickBooks Online and finance workflows
• Design scalable finance processes and internal controls
• Improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
