Job summary

Baxter International, Inc. is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to oversee US GAAP, local statutory reporting and tax procedures across multiple entities.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The role requires managing external auditors and tax authorities, leading complex accounting and tax matters, and driving process improvements within a global MedTech environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax, or external audit in a multinational.
• Experience managing statutory reporting, tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and corporate tax regulations.
• Excellent English communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive US GAAP, local statutory, and tax accounting and reporting for assigned entities.
• Lead preparation and review of local GAAP statutory financial statements, including consolidated statements.
• Manage calculation and review of tax provisions and accruals with internal Tax function.
• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns and related obligations.
• Perform and review account reconciliations; ensure balances are supported and issues resolved.
