Job summary
Intertek Italia is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in 3D Laser Scanning & Digital Twin Services to establish, lead, and grow end-to-end reality capture offerings across European and UK markets. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with commercial acumen and market knowledge to drive service definitions, SOPs, and client engagements.

Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience in 3D laser scanning, reality capture
- Proven experience setting up and scaling laser scanning services, including SOPs and workflows
- Strong understanding of BIM and digital twin platforms and data integration
- Demonstrated experience working with clients in European and UK markets
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and continuously improve 3D laser scanning and reality capture service offerings
- Define SOPs, quality standards, workflows and best practices
- Select, test and deploy hardware (terrestrial, mobile, UAV-based) and supporting equipment
- Evaluate and optimize processing and modeling software for point clouds, meshes, and BIM integration
- Ensure data accuracy, cybersecurity and compliance with industry standards
- Integrate laser scanning outputs with BIM, asset management, GIS and digital twin platforms
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams for interoperable architectures
- Support development of use cases like asset verification and lifecycle management
- Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, proposals and solution design
- Act as trusted technical advisor translating business needs into practical solutions
- Assist pricing strategies, cost models and service differentiation
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and monitor market trends
- Train and mentor internal teams; contribute to knowledge bases and industry forums
