Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Technology Consultant in Krakow to lead DES engagements using FlexSim and related simulation technologies. You will work with customers across EMEA and globally, guiding model design, analysis and delivery while collaborating with Sales, Product Development and Marketing.

You will mentor peers, support pre-sales activities, and continuously develop capabilities within the Krakow hub and broader EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 8+ years in Discrete Event Simulation or related domains with strong model building and analysis experience (FlexSim preferred).
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python or similar OO languages.
• Good understanding of manufacturing systems, processes and facility operations.
• Strong analytical, abstraction, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FlexSim DES consulting across engagements from discovery to implementation, leading workstreams with high independence.
• Serve as a senior technical contributor on engagements, guiding approach, model design, analysis and stakeholder communication.
• Assist with technical support escalations, acting as SME for customers and internal teams.
• Develop, validate and present simulation models to analyze system performance and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with customers and AOS stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities including technical demos, solution design and scoping.
• Develop understanding of current and new AOS technologies as solutions evolve.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Software Development and Customer Success to ensure outcomes.
• Contribute to standardized methodologies, reusable assets and best practices within AOS.
• Deliver training sessions, workshops and presentations to customers, partners and internal teams.
• Mentor less experienced team members and support capability building within Krakow hub and broader EMEA.
• Influence product teams by providing feedback to improve products and customer experience.
• Work independently with limited guidance, showing ownership and sound judgement.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and repeatability across projects.
