Job summary

Beffio Studio is seeking a Mid-Senior 3D Artist to craft high-quality assets across props, vehicles, foliage and environments. You’ll work with the Art Director to maintain a coherent style and ensure assets meet real-time engine requirements in Unity3D or Unreal Engine.

Expect collaboration with a global team, remote-friendly workflows, and opportunities to contribute to notable game projects. Strong experience with PBR workflows and texturing is essential.

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist.
  • Strong knowledge of game production techniques for efficient and high-quality results.
  • Expertise in hard surface and organic modeling for props, vehicles, foliage and environments.
  • Excellent texturing using Substance Designer and Substance Painter.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) and Unity3D.
  • Proficiency with Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya.

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced 3D Artist (Mid-Senior level) with more than 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll focus on creating high-quality 3D art assets in both realistic and stylized styles, including props, hard surface models, foliage, vehicles, weapons, and environment elements. You'll work closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist to maintain a coherent visual style and ensure the technical quality of 3D assets. Your work will involve everything from asset creation to integration into game engines like Unity3D or Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality 3D art assets in both realistic and stylized styles, including props, hard surface models, foliage, vehicles, weapons, and environment elements, based on project requirements.
  • Ensure performance and technical quality of 3D assets, optimizing them to meet specific technical requirements.
  • Integrate 3D assets into Unity3D or Unreal Engine, setting up LODs, collisions, and dynamic objects.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist to maintain a coherent visual style across the project.
  • Optimize assets to fit specific technical requirements and real-time engine constraints.
  • Manage the quality and timely delivery of content, from hero assets through lighting to the final product.
  • Think creatively to maintain visual excellence, even under challenging production conditions.
Requirements
  • More than 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist.
  • Strong knowledge of game production techniques to achieve efficient and high-quality results.
  • Expertise in hard surface and organic modeling, particularly in creating props, vehicles, weapons, foliage, and environment assets.
  • Excellent skills in texturing materials using Substance Designer and Substance Painter.
  • Strong skills in creating both procedural and handmade materials.
  • Proven ability to work in both realistic and stylized art styles is required.
  • Proficiency in achieving believable physically based rendering (PBR) materials.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software like Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) and Unity3D.
  • Understanding of rendering budgets and real-time engine constraints.
  • Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Proficiency with Houdini for proceduralism and automation.
  • Ability to create scripts and tools using Python, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience in VFX, lighting, or shader development.
  • Skills in ZBrush or Mudbox.
  • Familiarity with C++, HLSL, or Python programming.
