Job summary

Beffio Studio is seeking a Lead 3D Artist for a fully remote, permanent role. You will define artistic direction, mentor a team of artists, and deliver high-end environments, props, and lighting for AA/AAA titles.

Candidate must ship titles, be proficient in Unity3D and Unreal Engine, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication in a cross-disciplinary team. Remote-first setup with flexible collaboration hours.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping at least one AA/AAA title as a 3D Artist or Lead.
• Proficiency in Unity3D and Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, UVs, texturing, lighting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define artistic direction and benchmarks for 3D production.
• Create reference scenes and materials for target fidelity and performance.
• Mentor and review artists, ensuring consistent quality.
• Create high-quality 3D assets including environments, props, and lighting.
• Work across stylized and realistic directions.
• Establish efficient pipelines for modeling, texturing, and scene assembly.
• Integrate assets into Unity3D and Unreal Engine with optimized performance.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Tech Artists, and Lighting Artists.
• Review external artists’ work to maintain internal standards.
• Join client meetings to present visual direction and updates.
