Job summary

Cisco Kraków Security Foundations Engineering team builds and maintains core platform security components, enabling secure management of secrets, auditing, cryptography, and compliance across SaaS and On-Prem offerings. We collaborate with internal teams to ensure security, reliability, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will implement security features in Go and/or C++, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to scalable, resilient services across multiple cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with multiple years of production software experience in Go and/or C++.
• Strong foundation in secure coding, debugging, testing.
• Solid Unix/Linux, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, debug, and maintain core security components with Go and/or C++.
• Deliver features, fixes, and automation from design through implementation.
• Write clean, secure code with strong unit and integration tests.
• Investigate issues to identify root causes and contribute to durable fixes, with 24/7 on-call support.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product management, support, and partners to grow ownership.
