541 Cisco Systems Poland sp. Z o.o. is seeking a Software Engineer for the Security Foundations Engineering team within Platform Engineering. You will contribute to building core security components for our cloud-based services and On-Prem offerings.

Join a team of 10+ engineers, work in a fast-paced environment, write secure code in Go and/or C++, and participate in on-call rotations while growing your skills and responsibility over time.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Production software experience in Go and/or C++
• Understanding of secure coding, debugging, testing
• Unix/Linux, networking, cybersecurity fundamentals
• Willingness to apply GenAI tools in software workflows
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn new tech
• Strong English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain core security components for the platform
• Write clean, secure code and help resolve production issues
• Participate in on-call rotations and support operational tasks
• Collaborate with senior engineers and other teams to grow responsibilities
